Billy Graham
Billy Graham (1918-2018) was a world renowned evangelist, author and Bible teacher.
Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, William Franklin Graham Jr. was the son of a dairy farmer and once considered “too worldly” for membership in a local youth group.
The Billy Graham crusades, evangelical events which are believed to have seen thousands of people respond to God's call were conducted across 180 countries.
He found the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) in 1950.
He was married to Ruth and together they had 5 children, 19 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. After a period out of the public eye, he died in February 2018.
