Maureen Wise

Converted at the age of 17 through reading the Bible, Maureen Wise was soon given a burden to pray for Communist countries in Eastern Europe. Having trained as a social worker, she visited a number of those countries prior to 1989 and then went to work in Romania soon after the Revolution and subsequently in Moldova. Many of her students in Romania were literally children of a recent revival.
