Enriching Primer on our Creator

For an introduction, this was a rich feast. The musical metaphor sewn through the book was inventive if a little complex at a couple of junctures. Though as a fan of Silmarillion, the opening chapter sung to my soul. The depth and breadth of scholarship really stood out. It wasn’t just quote sprinkling but real engagement, though appropriate for a primer. God’s creation is so much more than sterile debates about the age of the earth. It gets to the core of who God is, who we are, and his plans for the future. And this book ably demonstrated that. 8.2/10
