Respect the Image is a practical, hands on approach to communication growth. The “COMMUNICATE” acrostic is helpful-I particularly liked the chapters U (understand what you hear) and I (initiate peace) as they focused on listening and the humility involved with initiating peace. This book challenges our prideful hearts and gets ours hands dirty weeding the thorns and thistles out. It dares to be specific, making it helpful, yet it is seasoned with grace and pastoral counsel. The poetry throughout the book is pretty creative too! Would recommend to those of us who stumble in what we say, who have not yet bridled our entire body becoming a perfect man. (James 3)
