Pastor, Leader and Friend

Quantity

John Stott was a colossus, and named in TIME magazine (April 2005) as one of the hundred most influential people in the world. He commanded more column inches in the obituary pages of mainstream media than a serving cabinet minister, and he has a substantial entry in the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography. In this collection eighteen contributors, chosen from around the world, provide rich insights and perspectives on aspects of his life and ministry.

Written largely by people who knew John Stott well, this unique and pithy collection is a delight to read. With a foreword by Michael Nazir-Ali and a timeline for quick reference, this recollection of John Stott's life includes a variety of material that doesn't appear anywhere else.
